Indometacin or Indomethacin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug commonly used to reduce fever, pain, stiffness, and swelling. Indomethacin is used for musculoskeletal complaints, especially Patent ductus arteriosus, retinopathy of prematurity, ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis, arthritic gout, osteoarthritis, juvenile arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, Reactive arthritis (ReA), Paget's disease of bone, Bartter syndrome, Exertion headaches, pseudo gout, dysmenorrheal (menstrual cramps), pericarditis, bursitis, tendinitis, nephrogenic diabetes insipidus (prostaglandin inhibits vasopressin's action in the kidney), fever and pain associated with malignant diseases (tumors, bony metastases, lymphogranulomatosis), paroxysmal hemicrania, hemicrania continua and migraine, renal colic (pain due to kidney stones), cryoglobulinemia.

Indomethacin ER Pellets are available in 30%, 41.67% and 53% strength.

Indomethacin SR Pellets are available in 18.75%, 25%, 37.5% strength.
